White Bread

Ingredients

  • 5 tsp. salt
  • 6 c. hot water
  • 5 Tbs. sugar
  • 13-14 c. flour
  • 5 ⅓ c. powdered milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tbs. shortening
  • 2 Tbs. instant yeast

Directions

Mix salt, sugar, powdered milk, shortening, and water. Then add 5 cups of flour and mix. Then mix 3 eggs slightly beaten, 5 more cups of flour, and yeast into dough. When combined, add 3-4 more cups of flour. Bake at 375° for 35-45 minutes. Makes 5 loaves.
