Grandmas' Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • Small recipe
  • Large recipe
  • 1 ½ c. flour
  • 2 c. flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¾-1 tsp. salt
  • ½ c. shortening
  • ¾ c. shortening
  • 4-5 Tbs. cold water
  • 5-6 Tbs. cold water

Directions

Add flour and salt. Add shortening and cut together with pastry blender until small peas form. Put cold water in and form together into ball. Roll out dough. Cook at 450° for about 15 minutes.
