Magic Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 2 qts. Sliced peaches, well drained
  • 1 ½ c. milk
  • ⅔ c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 ½ c. flour
  • 1 T. baking powder

Directions

Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over well drained peaches; stir and set aside. Melt ⅔ c. butter in 9x13 pan. In a bowl, mix together flour, milk, sugar, and baking powder. Pour batter over melted butter. DO NOT stir. Pour peaches over batter. DO NOT stir. Sprinkle with brown sugar (optional). Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream. Serves 10-12 people. Recipe may be halved; use 8" square pan.
