Perfect Pie Crust
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour (sift, then measure)
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- ¼ c. ice water
Directions
Mix flour and salt together. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in ice water with a fork until dough holds together. Form into two rough balls. (Note: Handling too much makes dough tough) Roll out on lightly floured canvas.
