Rachelle's Pie Crust

Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 Tbs. vinegar
- 2 ½ c. flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbs. salt
- ¼ c. cold water
Directions
Cut together flour and shortening. Add salt. In a glass measuring cup, measure water. Then add vinegar and egg. Mix with a fork in the measuring cup. Pour liquid in the middle of the flour mixture. Fold ingredients together just until it starts to blend. Finish mixing with hands. Be careful not to handle dough too much. Cut dough into 3rds. Roll one section of dough by rolling the dough a few times and flipping the dough. Roll up the dough circle on rolling pin. Place dough in pie plate. Smooth out dough so there are no air bubbles. Cut of edges. Pinch a decorative edge. Poke holes in bottom and sides. Cook at 425° for 15-20 minutes.
