Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
- ½ c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 2 c. sugar
- 5 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- ¼ t. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. milk
Directions
Mix shortening, sugar and egg. Stir in milk and flavoring. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix thoroughly. Chill. Roll dough out. Cut. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes. Frost when cool.
