Toll House Pie

Ingredients

  • Pastry for one 9" pie
  • 1 c. butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz. or 1 c.) Semi-Sweet
  • ½ c. all-purpose flour
  • Chocolate Morsels
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • ½ c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • whipped cream or ice cream (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 325°. Prepare crust. In large bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add flour, sugar and brown sugar; beat until well blended. Blend in butter. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate and walnuts. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Bake until set, about 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Serves 8-12.
