Trifle

Ingredients

  • 3 c. vanilla ice cream (1 ½ pints)
  • 2 pts. strawberries, fresh
  • 1 large pkg. vanilla pudding
  • (or 2 pkg. frozen)
  • 6 oz. strawberry Jello dissolved in 2 c. water
  • 1 lrg. angel food cake
  • whipping cream

Directions

Dissolve Jello in boiling water then add ice cream until it melts. Let set over night. 2 hours before serving, crumble large angel food cake on Jello. Then put sliced fruit on top. Add pudding on top, then put sweetened whipped cream over entire dessert. Makes about 10-15 lrg. servings.
