Katsudon

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 Tbs. soy sauce
  • 1 Katsu - thinly sliced pork chop dipped in egg
  • 1 c. water (boiling)
  • and flour or bread crumbs; deep fry
  • chopped onion

Directions

Mix sugar, soy sauce, onion, beaten egg and boiling water. Add mixture to an electric skillet or deep skillet. Add meat. Cook until some of the juice is absorbed. Serve over rice.
