Pizza

Ingredients

  • 2 T. yeast
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 3 c. warm water
  • 7 - 8 ½ c. flour
  • 2 T. salt

Directions

Sprinkle yeast over water in a mixer bowl and let bubble. Add sugar and salt and mix. Slowly add flour while mixing. Add enough flour to make a thick dough. Sprinkle cornmeal and flour on surface to roll out the dough. Dough will roll out into 3 round crusts or cover 2 large cookie sheets.

To make pizza: Mix tomato paste and a little water (not too thick). Add to onion salt, leaf oregano, powdered or granulated garlic. Spread thin on dough. Add any other desired toppings. Bake at 450° for about 11-12 minutes. Check the bottom of crust for doneness.
