Cheesy Hash Browns
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (1 lb. 4 oz.) Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns
- ¼ c. butter, melted
- 2 Tbs. onion, chopped
- 1 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¾ c. sour cream
- 1 can (10 ¾ oz.) cream of chicken soup
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Thoroughly combine all ingredients except the hash browns. Place hash browns in a greased 2-quart baking dish. Add mixture to hash browns and stir until well mixed. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Variations - Use any variety of cream soup or add 1 clove of garlic, minced. Try adding a topping such as 2 c. cornflakes mixed with ½ c. margarine melted and sprinkled over casserole.
