Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cans consommé
- 1 ½ lb. ground beef
- 2 cans water
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes or 4-5 large tomatoes, peeled
- 4 bouillon cubes
- 6 carrots sliced
- ½ tsp. thyme
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 1 bay leaf
- ½-¾ c. macaroni
- 2 tsp. salt or less
- celery
- 10 peppercorns, to taste
Directions
Sauté onion and ground beef. Mix all ingredients, except noodles in a stockpot. Cook for 45 minutes. Add the noodles the last 15 minutes.
